2007 Saturn Sky

Last Update 10/21/09

  • Jeff got keyed... his awesome 07 Saturn Sky was in need of repair. Jeff wanted to flame the car instead of just repainting it, so here we go. Since the car is new and mostly perfect this shoot wont be to bad.

  • We had one big dent in the left rear quarter and just a few rock dings in the hood to take care of. In this step we sanded down the areas and cleaned them for icing.

  • After the icing we set the spots into high build primer and will next sand them out smooth. This is all standard work, nothing cool here.

  • The flames were always intended to be a bit understated, we did not want them to distract from the shape and style of the car itself. The flame are meant to accent the car and help it stand out a bit more than it already does.

  • Credit for the flame work belongs to Justin who operates Extreme Finishes. We worked with Justin to finish this car and I hope to do more in the future.
