2002 Monte Carlo

This was my wife's 2002 Monte Carlo, the drivers side had been wiped out and I bought the car for next to nothing.

I found all the replacement parts from a local salvage yard and began to remove and replace all the damaged sections.

This car had all of its structural integrity intact, the damage was superficial. Don't let this somewhat simple explanation deceive you, this did take a whole lot of effort to finish.

Then the body work, primers, paint and clear was applied...

And look at the finished product! Now in Minnesota the title is branded "prior salvage" as a rule of law, but this only means that the insurance company was unwilling to spend the money to repair it.

However, the car cost about 1/3 of that of the going market. Later we sold this for just below market to allow for the branded title.
